An established and reputable company
Since being formed in July 1988, Bromac Ltd has grown quickly to become one of the most respected companies in the remedial treatment industry due to our expertise, standard of materials used and quality of service. We offer highly competitive rates with no obligation quotes and specialist advice
We have developed an impressive client base, working in a wide variety of properties. We specialise in churches, castles, public buildings, offices, shops, banks, nursing homes and private houses. Contact us to find out how we can help you and your building.
Fully qualified surveyors
With fully qualified surveyors and trained staff, our aim at Bromac Ltd is to take the pain out of what is, for most clients, a very traumatic experience. Our surveying staff have many years of experience in Scottish properties and are members of the BWPDA and PCA (inc bwpda). We also offer the additional cover of the Guarantee Protection Insurance Ltd.
We offer an all trades service, which some do not as they sub contract work meaning co-ordinating jobs can cause inconvenience. However we employ our own plasterers and plumbers, eliminating these problems.
Peace of mind for you
We are registered through the PCA (Property Care Association inc BWPDA) to give you peace of mind.
We are members of BWPDA (The British Wood Preserving and Damp proofing Association), founded in 1929. It has established separate associations for its members working in the property care sector (dry rot, wet rot and woodworm treatment, wall-tie replacement, damp proofing and water proofing) and the wood protection sector (treatment of new timber to protect against the risk of insect or fungal attack or fire in service, protective coatings to protect against weathering or fire and DIY wood protection).
At Bromac Ltd we also provide GPI (Guarantee Protection Insurance) which is insurance cover in specialist areas of building and construction. With the Property Care Association (PCA), a subsidiary of the BWPDA, it is committed to improving the standard of workmanship available, through membership training, examinations and the creation of good practice guidelines. The PCA provides a mediation service and disciplines members involved in unresolved complaint.
We possess a selection of samples of old ships timbers which have been removed from churches etc. Some of these still have the lead bullets embedded in them.
Why Bromac Ltd is so highly regarded
We come highly recommended by our customers and have a varied and loyal customer base that we continue to satisfy. At Bromac Ltd we have worked on a large number of churches throughout Central Scotland. Working in these buildings requires a measure of respect for the building and the client. Evidence of the history of these buildings is always there to be found and we are keen to continue this.
