Since being formed in July 1988, Bromac has grown quickly to become one of the most respected companies in the remedial treatment industry.
Over the years Bromac have developed a wide client base, working in a wide variety of properties. While churches have become something of a speciality, Bromac have also worked in castles, public buildings, offices, shops, banks, nursing homes and of course, private houses.
With fully qualified surveyors and trained staff, the aim is to take the pain out of what is, for most clients, a very traumatic experience. Bromac offer an all trades service, which a number of their competitors are reluctant to do.

The surveying staff have over forty years experience in west of Scotland properties. This equates to approximately forty thousand surveys in the area. Bromac are members of the British Wood preserving and Damp Association and also offer the additional cover of the Guarantee Protection Insurance Ltd.

BWPDA - The British Wood Preserving and Damp-proofing Association, founded in 1929, has now established separate associations for its members working in the property care sector (dry rot, wet rot and woodworm treatment, wall-tie replacement, damp-proofing and water proofing) and the wood protection sector (treatment of new timber to protect against the risk of insect or fungal attack or fire in service, protective coatings to protect against weathering or fire and DIY wood protection). |

GPI -
GPI provides insurance cover in specialist areas of building and construction. With the Property Care Association (PCA), a subsidiary of the BWPDA, it is committed to improving the standard of workmanship available, through membership training, examinations and the creation of good practice guidelines .
The PCA provides a mediation service and disciplines members involved in unresolved complaints. |
